The Cloud is a fast growing wireless broadband company seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator.

Key areas of your responsibility will be:
* Manage, upgrade and monitor the core systems
o Linux Hosted Java application Servers
o Linux Routing
o Open source applications - eg Apache, Postgres
* Provide 3rd Line Support to customers according to SLAs - resolving technical support tickets, including participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota
* Troubleshoot and debug issues quickly and efficiently
* Update and maintain diverse Databases e.g. DHCP, Radius, DNS,RIPE, CMS, Postgres
* Actively review, upgrade improve operational tools
* Support Day-to-day business operations.
* Setup and maintain high availability systems
* Maintain documentation on current systems
* Maintain the internal Ticketing System

Ideally you will have:
* UNIX/Linux including advanced routing
* Java/JBOSS end-to-end administration experience
* SQL
* Database administration experience particularly with PostgreSQL or Oracle
* Competent in support and customer facing skills
* Experience of standard monitoring systems
* Ability to recommend new or changed standards to ensure improved efficiency, effectiveness and robustness
* Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

It would also be great if you have:
* Familiarity with an SME or start-up environment
* Experience with ITIL
