Job Description
Working within the Infrastructure Services team and as part of the larger Group Technology, the Systems Administrator (Systems and Messaging) will be responsible for the on-going support, maintenance, security and development of their MS Server and Exchange user environment and related infrastructure. You will focus on smooth operational efficiency, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally coming from a highly technical environment, you will have solid experience managing highly complex system, server email/communications environments. You will have technical expertise enabling you to challenge and influence stakeholders but hold a strong passion for the functional aspects of your role. You will demonstrate your commitment to continuous improvement through a process and outcome driven approach to your work. To be successful you will also require; Tertiary and/or Industry qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Solid commercial experience within Systems Administration, with a focus on Email and Communication Systems Strong MS Exchange skills Strong Email Communications skills (mail security, backups and recovery / antispam / Enterprise Vault / Blackberry support) Strong Active Directory, MS Server and DNS skills Strong VPN, DMZ and remote access security skills
