Job Description:
The Systems Administrator 2 will help manage the creation of tools and processes that allow our development teams to quickly and efficiently release our educational software products.
Responsibilities for Systems Administrator 2:
- Deploy and ensure proper instrumentation of software components in all environments from development through production
- Work closely with other Operations teams and Developers to aid in the successful release of software and to ensure reliability of the production site
- Maintain effective monitoring of key production services
- Manage availability, capacity and performance of the firm's production stack (web, application, database and storage)
- Configure application load balancing (F5 experience a plus), and troubleshoot issues related to load balancing and web traffic
- Measure the impact of changes to content, applications, networks and infrastructure
