ITT Exelis is seeking a Systems Administrator. The successful candidate will maintain, as well as identify and solve problems to improve the numerous computer infrastructures. This individual would also be responsible for integration of systems on the existing infrastructure. Other duties may include scripting or light programming, and project management for systems related projects. We provide 24/7 service support. On the occasion, after-hours and/or weekends may be required.
5+ Years with BS Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
Candidate must have a minimum of six years of experience in computer systems, networking, and their related tools. Proficient experience with LINUX (Redhat), Windows Server 2003/2008/XP, and VMWare is required. Understanding of EMC SAN, network architectures and network security practices are beneficial. Candidate must have excellent customer and interpersonal skills. They must be a flexible, organized, thoughtful, proactive team player who can work with minimal guidance and demonstrate strong abilities in cross-organizational teaming and in customer service.
Successful candidates must have a TS/SCI with a Polygraph.
