The Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) is looking for a Windows Systems Administrator. The primary responsibilities of the individual filling this position will be providing customer support of our Windows environment including systems operations, account management, software/hardware installations and problem resolution. In addition, the individual will:
• Provide full customer service while following our customer service standards
• Participate in staffing the IT Services Help Desk (50% time)
• Coordinate hardware problem resolution with field service personnel
• Perform system problem diagnosis and recovery
• Participate in evaluating and recommendations of Windows environment

The ideal candidate must possess excellent customer service skills, enjoy working with people, be experienced with Windows operating systems as well as other relevant areas of IT services. Experience with Macintosh and Linux operational systems desirable.

Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks required. Ability to use patience and professionalism in all situations required. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally. Ability to actively contribute to and work in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field and 2-4 years of progressively responsible experience in IT support. Substitution of additional relevant education or experience for stated qualifications will be considered.
