Currently we are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our Indianapolis Myers and Stauffer Team.

Job Description: The Systems Administrator will manage multiple projects, communicate with clients, understand pharmacy reimbursement policy, and analyze data related to pharmacy reimbursement.

Essential Functions:

 

ü  Perform daily system administration tasks to include installation of new software releases, system upgrades, evaluation and installation of patches, and conducting tape backups, preferably using CA Arcserve Acronis

ü  Provide troubleshooting skills on client system while maintaining data files and monitoring of system configuration to ensure data integrity

ü  Hands-on management of Dell servers effectively communicating issues to operations staff

ü  Resolve software and related problems associated Windows servers

ü   Continuously looks for process and quality improvement

ü  Installation of rack-mounted IT equipment, power and network cabling

ü  Insures team documentation is accurate and maintained

ü   Tests and deploys software updates and security patches to servers and workstations under direct supervision

ü  Coordinate hardware maintenance and repairs with vendors

ü  Maintain security and confidentiality of all protected health information encountered during performance and other essential functions

ü  Additional responsibilities as assigned

 

Requirements:

ü  5 years as Sr. Desktop Support / Systems Administrator

ü  Advanced Windows XP and Windows 7

ü  Advanced MS Office

ü  Strong Server experience - Server 2003 / 2008

ü  Strong Active Directory support

ü  Experience supporting VPN

ü  Ability to lift 50 pounds

ü  Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

ü   Team oriented and able to operate with minimal supervision

ü   Proven analytical and problem solving skills

ü   Ability to work in a project-based team environment

ü  Strong organizational and time management skills

ü   Customer focused with dedication to customer satisfaction

ü  Familiarity with HIPAA requirements.
