Systems Administrator Job in South Jordan 84095, Utah US
General Information about position and Miche: Miche, LLC—an international leading designer of innovative, branded designer handbags—is seeking candidates for the full-time position of Systems Administrator at its Home Office headquarters in South Jordan, UT.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintain and configure Windows servers, SAN, NAS and other systems as required
· Maintain Exchange Server
· Responsible for disaster recovery plan and daily backups
· Monitor the systems and performance to identify/resolve issues
· Perform equipment installation, upgrades, patches and configuration as required
· Assist in implementation and maintaining system monitoring tools to ensure optimal system utilization and performance
· Provide internal analysis and support to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance
· Supervise Desktop Administrator and help desk support
· Will be expected to maintain and update phone systems as required. This includes troubleshooting; create user profiles, new feature installations, enhancements and monitoring.
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements (including education and years of experience):
· Experience installing and administrating Microsoft Windows server operating systems
· Experience installing and administrating Microsoft Windows Exchange server
· Experience with server and IO virtualization technologies including UCS and Xsigo, and hypervisors VMware, Hyper-V, Xen, KVM, etc.
· Demonstrated success and experience implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows (all versions including Server Core and HPC) and related technologies, along with some Linux experience
· Knowledge and experience with networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP and other standard Internet protocols
· At least 4 years’ experience managing IT systems for a mid-size company.
· Experience with Mac a plus
· Experience supporting a data center is a plus
· Clustered environments experience a plus
· Knowledge of traditional and leading-edge voice options including SIP, TDM voice, IP telephony, PBX systems
· Four year college techncal degree or Microsoft MSCE or equivalent certification
· Security administration and policy creation
· An understanding of working within a domain-environment is a must
· Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
· Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
· Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
· Must be able to provide 24x7 on call support for data center emergencies
