Job Description Job Classification: Contract Our client is seeking a mid level application administrator to support the implementation of their applications. this includes working with customer servers ranging between Red Hat and UNIX platforms. The right candidate will have migration experience from one release of software to another. the candidate will also have 2 or 3 years of experience supporting Linux, Red Hat, or UNIX servers. They will need to have experience working with applications that are deployed on Apache, JBoss, and WebLogic, as well as an understanding of how Oracle databases interact with client server applications. They will need to be comfortable with either MySQL, PL/SQL, or Toad, as they will be searching the database, filtering, and changing values. The top 3 skills are as follows: 1. 2-3 years Linux Red Hat administration 2. Shell Scripting experience (Korn) in supporting application installs and migrations for live customers 3.
