Systems Analyst – Data Sourcing recruitment

We are looking for a Systems Analyst to take responsibility for defining data requirements, transformation and enrichment logic for sourcing Global Banking and Markets trade and reference data to meet regulatory reporting requirements. 

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Standardising requirements cross product and across regional hubs to ensure that the efforts of each asset class are aligned to meet the GBM architectural principals.

• Working with the Data Services Layer (DSL) development and QA teams to deliver a standardised data sourcing approach in an Agile environment.

The team are responsible for the following project deliveries:

• Verify the asset class description and transformation of data attributes into the FpML standard.

• Define the data models for DSL reference data used for enrichment, validation (syntactical and business) and event management.

• Prepare high quality functional stories with success criteria with full traceability to the business requirements.

• Work closely with DSL team to define and manage the project delivery.

• Co-ordinate with QA teams to define test plans and test harnesses

• Provide input to design discussions and project planning meetings including full ownership of the DSL functional design.

Candidates will have a structured approach to requirements analysis and project management, experience in capturing, analysing and documenting functional non-functional requirements gained on agile projects and experience working within large/strategic and small/tactical projects. You will need in depth knowledge of OTC derivatives and strong technical skills including XML based data modelling, FpML experience and an understanding of business transformation tools such as Aptitude/Drools/Jrules
