The Ulster Bank Credit Risk Analytics team supports the implementation and use of the RBS suite of credit risk models across UB in addition to the development of Macro Economic Stress Testing models for the Ulster Bank portfolio.
In this role you will work within Strategic Credit Analysis to deliver ongoing system enhancements to our bespoke reporting and MIS platforms, increasing team productivity by reducing time spent on production to focus on valued added strategic MI. The systems enhancements range from financial reporting databases (e.g. Cognos, INEA) to bespoke Risk Platforms (e.g. RMP, RA, PiRANA).
To succeed, you will need to demonstrate:
- IT Project experience in a banking environment particularly in Risk Finance
- Proven ability to develop and deliver successful system upgrades and automation of manual processes
- Strong planning and organisation skills
- Strong ability to communicate and work effectively with others.
- Excellent attention to detail with track record of delivering high quality outputs.
- Proactive approach to continuously improving systems processes
- Banking Systems Knowledge
- Self starter with good interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills generally and facility to learn and develop systems/processes quickly e.g. VB/VBA
- Data extraction skills preferably via SQL and/or SAS.
- Knowledge of Banking/Risk Platforms an advantage
- Aptitude for logical problem solving and analytical reasoning
