Partner Healthcare IT has been retained to recruit a Systems Analyst

 

Job Description

·         Develops, tests, implements and maintains application software. 

·         Serves as an escalation point to the Help Desk to troubleshoot software application issues. 

·         Analyzes and evaluates computer systems, prepares detailed specifications and flowcharts and submits recommendations for solutions to processing problems.

·        Coordinates installation of enhancements and upgrades with the user department,  

      ensuring satisfactory results

 

·         Works with end users on identification of problems and new system development.

 

·         Supports clinical systems as assigned, on a 24x7 basis, if necessary

 

·         Assists with all other projects as assigned

Job Qualifications

·        Associates in Computer Science, Business or Clinical field required.  Bachelors degree preferred. 

·         Degree, certification, or experience in a healthcare field preferred.

·         Minimum four years computer analyst experience required with proven ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and support software applications as the application expert.

·         Ability to prioritize work and work independently. 

·         Experience as a Clinical Analyst preferred, experience with Soarian and/or Siemens Pharmacy a plus.  Experience with Emergency Department applications a plus.
