Systems Analyst Job in San Diego 92101, California Us

Successful applicant will provide coordination and management support to project engineers and other project team members for planning and execution of ship industrial availability. Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Participate in planning and execution of ship industrial availability
- Participate in development of work item candidate list
- Create and maintain various databases in Access and Excel
- Document and request work item tasking
- Track resolution of work specification design issues
- Prepare and distribute work specification status reports
- Act as project team gatekeeper for Navy Data Environment (NDE) applications including AMPS, RMMCO, CDMD-OA, etc.
- Capture and transcribe technical meeting minutes and track action items through resolution
- Perform other administrative duties as required
- Perform duties in both office and industrial (shipboard) environment

PLEASE ADVISE:   The position is full-time (40 hrs) temporary with no benefits; however, you are eligible to participate in 401K plan.   

Required Skills:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Level security clearance - Working knowledge of NAVY ship change planning and reporting processes - Proficient in MS Office Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and Power Point - Strong attention to detail with organizational and problems solving skills - Ability to interface positively with a diverse population - Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills - Ability to work independently and pro-actively in providing high quality supportPreferred Skills:
US Navy Combat Systems experience preferred
