Systems Analyst- Prime Services
Systems Analyst with experience of Prime Services within Investment Banking required by leader in IB to support a major change programme.
You will facilitate communications between a number of teams including Business Change Management, upstream IT Analysts, and Developers, providing them with detailed specifications, which address the business objectives of the project.
Main Requirements for the role:
Understand and document current application flows within the architecture.
Creation of detailed functional specifications
Collaborate with business counterparts to understand and document business processes and data structures
Identify and document changes to the application flows that will be necessary to support business requirements for the project.
Review and refine the Data Model and other Specifications produced by other business analysts
Review Designs produced by the Development team, to verify requirements coverage
Query Underlying Database tables using SQL.
Essential skills for the role:
Extensive systems or business analyst experience on either front-to-back projects or projects involving multiple teams/systems
Full life cycle experience, using a structured development methodology
Experience of Structured Testing
Financial Product knowledge
Business analysis skills - Working closely with users / clients to understand requirements
Knowledge of SQL
Experience of one or more Prime Services business area (Stock Loan/Borrow, Prime Finance, Prime Brokerage) would be an advantage
