Purpose
Partners with IT and assigned business line(s) to assess, research, analyze and document business and systems needs in order to resolve business systems issues by recommending business solutions that meet sponsor/stakeholder needs.
Context
Is small to large development or maintenance projects (multiple projects, - one application with multiple interfaces). Emphasis is split between testing, development, project lead and documentations.

Primary Responsibilities
Business Analysis Documentation
- Provides consulting services on new initiatives (small to large of varying complexity).
- Coordinates detailed business requirements phases identifying, tracking and resolving business systems issues.
- Assesses researches and analyzes business and system needs, exploring alternative options to recommend technology solutions and designs that meet sponsor needs and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) deliverables including component reusability, security.
- Recommends business solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs continually exploring and assessing options for value-add for clients.
- Leads and prepares detailed design and technical phases for small to large projects identifying, tracking and resolving technical issues (in accordance with SDLC. SRS writing).
- Ensures successful completion of project objectives within budget, on time (for initiatives managed outside GPGM scope, and where no IT PM is appointed).
- Organizes and participates in walkthrough reviews of all technical specifications, and test plans.
- Directs preparation of appropriate documentation for assigned projects (in accordance to CMMI / SDLC).
Coding, Testing Documentation
- Develops, codes, documents and executes unit test, system, integration and acceptance test using different languages and testing tools for functions of high complexity.
- Ensures adequate technical documentation and training.
- Performs performance tuning to improve performance when applicable.
- Provides on-call support of critical applications
- Develops and executes testing including coordinating system and acceptance testing.
- Provides input and co-ordinates with various IT Service Delivery teams (Work Stream leaders, Change Release Management, Databases Middleware) for new infrastructure related aspects.
Planning, Implementation Support
- Develops detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements and acceptance phases of projects
- Develops detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of project.
- Prepares and provides detailed documentations/materials implementation.

Relationships Communication
- Develops criteria for and participates in the evaluation of as well as due diligence exercises as required.
- Effectively communicates with team members, stakeholders and business partners and collaboration from initiation to close.
- Facilitates small to medium group meetings for business review, technical design, decision making, and problem solving and task implementation
- Resolves minor/medium conflicts/issues and escalates others as appropriate.
- Manages the detail aspects of day-to-day operations with all parties
Development Coaching
- Act as project leader when no IT PM appointed.
- Continually enhances skills and builds knowledge in all aspects of the organization, the business and information systems.
- Provides direction, expertise, feedback, coaching and development to build the capability of more junior staff/contractors.

- Graduated in Information Technology
- Experience in Financial industry
