UPMC Corporate Services provides centralized support services such as accounts payable, purchasing, human resources, payroll, benefits, financial and medical billing, information services, legal services, and others to the approximately 25 different business units comprising UPMC.
We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Systems Analyst - Intermediate to help support the Information Services Division (ISD) System Support Department located in Oakland. The work hours for this position are Monday through Friday standard business hours. As the Analyst, under the general direction of the management team and Senior staff, you will provide experienced analytical and/or programming capabilities, defining requirements, developing and/or maintaining computer applications/systems, and providing services to meet client IT and business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of the fundamental tools and concepts of one of the information technology professional disciplines such as applications, business analysis, customer service, data, networking, operations, security, and systems engineering
- Experience with systems management and monitoring tools such as IBM Tivoli Monitoring or other similar monitoring tools is preferred
- Experience with various operating systems such as Unix, Linux, AIX and Windows systems, as well as being able to script using technologies such as ksh, Perl, Python, JavaScript, etc. is preferred
- Experience with Tivoli Netcool Event Management products such as Omnibus, Webgui, Impact, etc. is preferred
- Experience with Crystal or BIRT databases is preferred as well as database reporting
