Systems Business Analyst (Implementation)
My clients are looking for an experience Business Analyst with experience in large-scale implementation projects.
The role will be supporting the implementation and release of new Operational Risk and Control software (ORAC) within Operational Risk Management Framework Programme. Business Analysts (BAs) will report directly to Release Managers and support the development of detailed designs, plans and requirements. Also responsible for executing testing scripts within testing cycles of Operational Risk and Control (ORAC) system implementation
Main duties and responsibilities
Business Analysis - 70%:
- Development of functional requirements / system design for future releases
- Analysis of Development of roadmap / release strategy
- Detailed requirements gathering from senior stakeholders and end users within Operational Risk department and wider teams
- Support release manager by proactively raising risks and issues, preparing deliverables and contributing to weekly reporting cycles
- Contribute functional expertise in the defect management and test execution cycles, working with technical resources to ensure defects and requirements are understood and resolved
Software Testing – 10%:
- Support and augmentation of the test teams as required
- This could include both preparation and execution of test scripts
Stakeholder management– 20%
- Identify and establish relationships with stakeholders. This will include identifying their requirements and concerns then managing expectations and pressures
- Ensure stakeholders fully understand and are committed to the Programme
Applicants will be expected to have sufficient Operational Risk knowledge to understand, challenge and improve both business requirements and detailed system solution documents. This should be coupled with Business Analysis experience in large-scale systems implementations projects within the Financial Services industry sector.
Further Systems delivery planning experience and experience of execution of test scripts for large-scale system implementation projects would be preferable.
