JOB SUMMARY:
Involvement with the functional, customer, and bank certification testing of TNS applications. Involvement with implementation and post implementation support.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Functional testing/ Bank Certification / Customer Integration Testing/ Implementation and Application Support
- Involvement in the functional testing of TNS applications
- Involvement in Bank Certification testing of TNS applications
- Involvement in Customer Certification testing of TNS applications
- Involvement in Customer Integration testing of TNS applications
- Review User documentation for TNS applications
- Test and support implementation processes of TNS Applications
- Application support of TNS applications
- To ensure that the overall Quality Objectives of the Company in respect of carrying out job responsibilities are met. Post holder must comply with the current Security Policy
- Post holder must understand the need for confidentiality when dealing with customer information.
- Post holder must understand contractual requirements to maintain integrity of data and the availability of the service at all times.
- Other duties as may be required.
- Required to work within a group or team environment
- Availability to assist with out of hours software related network issues
JOB EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Requires a minimum of 3 years related software development or support experience
Experience with Financial systems, ideally Payment systems and services / EFT
Experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g. VB, C, Java, .NET)
Experience with related operating systems i.e. MS windows, Microsoft Office Suite, MySQL, Oracle, Linux
Experience with networking, data communications ( e.g. TCP/IP)
Desirable:
Experience with networking, data communications ( e.g. TCP/IP)
Experience with POS related protocols ( apacs30/49/50/70, ISO8583) as necessary
Experience with Card schemes VISA/MasterCard/LINK
Experience with ATMs (e.g. NDC, NCR, Triton)
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
Requires a 4 year degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience
Ability to interface with members of the group and other departments
Ability to troubleshoot problems
Good analytical skills
Familiarity with software development environments
Familiarity with source control systems
Familiarity integrating with third party software
Strong work ethic and professional approach to developing software
