Preferred Qualifications: - Hands-on design, build, implementation, testing, training and upgrade experience of one or more of the following Cerner Millennium applications: CareNet, CCL Programming, CORE/charge services, Document Imaging, EMPI, FirstNet, iNET, iVIEW, Medical Device Interface (MDI), PathNet, PharmNet, PowerChart, PowerChart Office, PowerInsight, PowerForms, PowerNotes, PowerOrders, PowerPlans, ProFile, ProFit/Charge Master, PowerVision, RadNet, Scheduling Registration (ESM/ERM), Security, SurgiNet - Up to 80% travel may be required. Consultants live anywhere in the U.S. (remote) and travel to the project (client site). - Experience with Requirements Definition, System Testing, Training and Activation/Go-Live Support a plus. - Strong knowledge of workflow in an acute-care and/or ambulatory setting. - Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) and organizational skills. - Strong customer service focus to build and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. - Ability to work independently or on a project team. - Ability to work effectively with non-technical and technical staff and vendors. - Experience with MS office software, and Microsoft operating environments - Bachelor s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience. - Clinical experience: Nursing, Radiology, Laboratory or Pharmacy a plus.
