Systems & Control / Data Senior Analyst recruitment
Group Finance includes central finance areas, specialist teams and divisional finance teams which support our front-line businesses. Our specialist teams are; Global Finance Services, Group Chief Accountant's, Group Corporate Finance, Group Finance Business and Executive Support, Group Financial Planning and Analysis, Group Internal Audit, Group Strategy, Group Tax, Group Treasury, and Investor Relations. Our divisional teams are; Business Services Finance, Corporate Banking Finance, Markets and International Banking (MIB), Non-Core and APS Finance, and Retail, Wealth and Ulster (RWU) Finance.
The LERD team is responsible for maintaining the Group Reference Data Management (GRDM) database of wholesale customers and internal hierarchies including supply of data and reports to retained Netherlands' systems.
As Systems Control / Data Senior Analyst, you’ll be responsible for delivering fit for purpose business / system processes and liaising with other data project teams. This involves working closely with the rest of LERD team, and creating and maintaining strong business relationships. You’ll work with our overseas workflow team to outline project deliverables, monitor performance and enhance current processes and controls. You’ll also produce high quality reports in respect of data controls and reference data, whilst reviewing changes, challenging exceptions, and investigating and ensuring resolution of any reported items.
To be successful as Systems Control / Data Senior Analyst, you'll have experience of database maintenance, data manipulation / matching and experience within financial services. Ideally, you’ll also have data migration experience within large scale projects and strong Access, Excel and Business Objects skills. It’s crucial you understand banking reference data / legal entity data to highlight potential issues, investigate root causes and present findings. Additionally, you’ll have strong interpersonal skills and proven relationship management skills.
