Our client, a leading educational institution, is seeking the skills of a Systems Development Manager and become a key member of their ICT team. Reporting the the ICT Manager, you will manage a small team of Developers across a range of projects and applications. You will have a sound knowledge of the .Net framework and best practice approach to development and methodology. Engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders will also be an important part of this role.  
  
  
To qualify for the role you will ideally meet the following criteria:  
  

• Proven experience as a Development Manager or Development Team Leader in managing a small team of Developers  
• Sound understanding of the Microsoft development stack: C#/VB.Net/ASP.Net, WPF, WCF, SQL Server 2008, etc.  
• Sound understanding of design, architecture, and Agile practices  
• Experience with SharePoint 2007 will be highly regarded  
• Experience with code reviews, resource allocation, project estimation, and performance management  
• Strong project management/delivery and process improvement skills  
• Ability to engage with the business and interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders  
• Exposure to CMS, BI tools, and Networking will be highly regarded  
• Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills  
• A mature and professional approach - with a good sense of humour!
