Sand Resources has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Systems Developer to join a large local authority based in South London helping to support the organisation's key systems.
Our client seeks and experienced Systems Developer to administer and maintain the organisation's Midland HR iTrent Systems. Candidates need to be experienced in iTrent to succeed in the role.
Systems Development Officer Role:
• Provide application support and systems development services for the organisation's Midland iTrent HR system including:
• 2nd and 3rd line applications support
• Database administration
• Complex systems administration
• Report writing
• Systems analysis, design and development
• Development project management
• Requirements specification and process design
• Testing and implementation
• Maintain a high quality approach to systems development through the application of strategies, standards, policies, methodologies, systems analysis, software, quality assurance, testing, implementation and application support
Systems Development Officer Skills and Experience:
• Very good knowledge of iTrent HR system configuration for the following modules of the system is essential:
• Organisation and Structure Management (Terms and Conditions, Inheritance)
• Absence Schemes
• Workflow/Process Chain Configuration
• Payroll Configuration
• Employee Self Service
• Expenses
• Goals and Appraisals
• Schools Workforce Census
• Good knowledge of reporting and data extraction tools and familiarity with the use of Business Objects, including the use of the iTrent Universe to maintain and create reports
• Experience in iTrent System Security, System Configuration, Audit, People manager configuration and Data conversion routines
• Good knowledge of systems analysis and development, including - requirements definition, process charting, module and integration testing, software quality reviews, implementation and support.
• Good knowledge of data analysis, data validation and cleansing, database design and SQL or Oracle databases.
• Ability to run workshops and document Business and Technical requirements
