My client is Established IT service Provider who is looking to hire a new Systems Engineer in order to maintain all Window 2008 and Exchange servers as well as the maintain the current network. They are currently supporting a large range of prestigious Hedge Funds and Alternative Investment Managers.
The day to day duties of a Systems Engineer for my client includes the following:
* Maintaining all internal Windows 2008 and Exchange servers, this will involve trouble shooting issues that arise on Cisco Routers, Switches and VMware virtual or physical servers
* Maintain the current network, teoubleshooting 1st line issues
* Help expand the IT infrastructure as my client looks to move towards a more electronic trade structure
* Gather system requirements from traders and existing system users in order to improve and develop current IT system.

In order to be successful in your application for the Systems Engineer role you need the following skills and experience:
* Previous experience using Windows 2008/Exchange servers
* Consistently used VMware in order to create virtual and physical servers
* MCSE certified
* CCNA certified
* Experience using Active Directory
* Experience using SQL and Oracle databases
