Current SSBI/Special Programs Access - US Citizenship Required about security clearance definitions Position Description ***CURRENT TOP SECRET SCI CLEARANCE WITH POLYGRAPH REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION*** The Boeing National Security Programs Team in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking a talented and experienced Systems Engineer to work on projects in a growing portfolio of intelligence, security and information systems. The projects cover a wide spectrum of Information Technology (IT), computing and network technologies and include: enterprise IT services, service oriented architecture, cyber security, distributed networks, command and control systems. The candidate selected for this position will become a member of an exciting program as a Senior Systems Engineer. Qualified candidates should have the following: 1) at least 9 years experience performing and providing technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessment and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis, 2) experience leading, providing technical supervision, and guiding mid-level engineering personnel; solving varied technical/scientific problems; and generating and reviewing designs for technical accuracy, completeness and appropriateness in light of objectives, budget, and schedule, 3) experience developing documentation required to support a program's technical issues and training situations, 4) experience with Object Oriented and Structured development methodologies, networks, data storage, data modeling, data ontologies, security architectures and CASE tool selection and use, 5) experience performing a variety of tasks related to knowledge/ technique dissemination to groups of analytic workforce and demonstrates an ability to convey new techniques and technologies to analytic workforce and facilitate transference of acquired knowledge from more experienced analysts to new analysts, 6) experience with system architectures in a service oriented and ESB environment, 7) experienced in analytical environments/intelligence production organizations and applying agile and/or spiral development models, 8) experience developing system performance, availability, and scalability, manageability, and security requirements for mid-to-large-scale programs and integrating information systems into SOA or on to ESB architectures, 9) experience "wrapping" legacy systems or components as Web Services within a SOA framework and developing solutions integrating and extending FOSS, COTS and GOTS products from multiple vendors, 10) experience developing and deploying integrated desktop applications and implementing solutions with PKI-controlled access. . The following additional experience is desired: developing, delivering, testing and supporting integrated hardware and software systems with functional requirements within a CMMI Level 2 or equivalent process structure, incorporating collaboration services into an integrated desktop environment, designing and developing applications that contain a user-facing view component, developing solutions certified and accredited at a DCID 6/3 PL3 plus the appropriate integrity Level of Concern (LOC) and availability LOC for systems.
