Job Description Opportunity provides Tier 1 2 Sustainment Support; SW Loads, Installations, Patch Management, Deployment, Configuration Management, Sparing, and Certification Accreditation to deployed state-of-the-art Intelligence system(s). Said systems are in the forefront of the Intelligence Community mission and offer technical exposure to and experience in the full spectrum of collection and processing - the initial phases of the technical intelligence cycle. Work will be co-located with HW and SW engineering professionals and personnel with diverse skill sets dedicated to sustaining this all important mission. (U) Work Role: Provide senior system engineering support on large-scale systems, major system elements, and/or interfacing systems; Manage support to the overall system engineering domain in architecture, requirements analysis, data flow, network design and/or implementation or testing; Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architecture to develop system requirements specifications; Develop detailed system architecture and system design documentation; Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans; Develop system configuration documentation, including detailed designs for capacity planning, security systems and disaster recovery. Conduct on the job training for co-workers. (U) Experience Requirement: Minimum five to ten years in a technical role in projects and programs for Government or Industry customers; Five years experience as a Systems Engineer in programs that encompass system architecture, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation; Experience in the following: Solaris, Linux, HP LO100i, and Windows utilities and techniques to diagnose and correct performance bottlenecks; Significant experience in the following: Designing complex collection systems; Integrating systems using multiple operating systems (Solaris, Linux, Windows); Performing tradeoff studies and System performance analysis; Experience in Agile methods is desired. Candidate shall have a Bachelor's Degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or Mathematics. TU 0812
