Systems Engineer
What are the job responsibilities?
This position is for a System Engineer responsible for supporting a number of small to medium size applications. This includes, but is not limited to installation, on-going serverapplication maintenancesupport, upgrades, testing, documentation and heavy end user support. This role also provides recommendations regarding direction of tools and applications supported.
Position is part of a support rotation.
Who is our ideal candidate?
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum three years of experience in a large, production IT environment administering and supporting multiple small to medium size applications.
Knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of VB Script
Understanding of Active Directory and ADAM
Windows server and desktop experience
UNIX experience is a plus
Basic programming experience
Must be highly skilled and proficient in problem solving.
Excellent verbal written communication and organizational skills required.
Ability to regularly exercise independent judgment and discretion.
Excellent end users support skills
Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities
