Service Desk Analyst III | Systems Engineer

We are currently seeking a Professional, Knowledgeable, Client Satisfaction-driven Sr. Service Desk Analyst to provide support services for small to mid-sized financial services providers including community banks, credit unions, venture capital firms and hedge fund clients.  The Sr. Service Desk Analyst participates as a key member of the Technology Management Center and is responsible for remote configuration and support of Microsoft Windows servers (2003/2007/2008) and workstations (XP pro), Cisco routers, Checkpoint firewalls and other equipment, as appropriate, for clients.  The potential candidate must possess solid experience working in a professional environment, providing remote and occasional face-to-face technical support on service requests or projects, and consultation on best practices in technology management.

Professional Expertise and Experience

Minimum of five (5), preferably seven (7) years of IS / IT / Network Administration or related experience;

Minimum of one (1), preferably three (3) years of professional consulting experience;

Minimum of two (2) years of experience interacting face to face with clients in a business professional setting;

Experience successfully managing a schedule and meeting deadlines while working remotely;

Advanced experience: Microsoft server 2000, 2003, 2008, Microsoft Exchange (2007 2010), Virtualization (Hyper-V, Citrix, VMware), NT or Netware, routers, PC hardware, computer networking;

Windows 7 and prior Windows desktop operating systems;

Apple OS experience;

Experience with Cisco Call Manager Express and IP telephony;

Expert troubleshooting skills;

Current Microsoft and CCNA, CCNP or CCIE Certifications;

Bachelors Degree preferred;

Ability to maintain open communication with counterparts within all levels of organization;

Flexible with working hours to ensure required staffing;

Ability to influence a positive work environment that fosters team performance through own work and behavior;

Ability to expertly document client environments;

The ability to be deployed, if needed, to other Compushare markets.

Compensation

The base salary for this position varies and depends on the number of years of relevant experience.  In addition to a base salary, our Professionals have the opportunity to earn unlimited incentive compensation through our Revenue$hare bonus program.
