Our client is a large - scale multinational company opens the System Engineer ( pre- sale ) position.
The primary duties for this position include (but are not limited to):
· Act as technical expert in Networking products
· Work collaboratively with the business development team to establish and develop opportunities for Networking products
· Ensure successful technical implementations of solutions
· Create and deliver technical product presentations and/or training sessions to channel partners and customers
· Proactively expand knowledge and supplement skills through appropriate use of online resources, manuals, and professional relationships
· Travel to customer sites for pre-sales evaluations, including installation and customization or upgrades of both hardware and software.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· The individual must have at least 5 years of IT industry experience in sales, consulting or other customer-facing role, preferably with demonstrable hands-on technical expertise
· The individual must be flexible, dependable and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies
· The SE should expect to travel 30-40% of the time within the country or region (CIS)
· The SE should have a thorough understanding of desktop and server operating systems software, and proficiency in common office productivity software such as Microsoft Office
· The SE should have demonstrated a broad understanding of Microsoft Windows Server System, Linux, virtualization platforms
Key requirements include:
· The individual should have a solid background in networking, security and WEB applications
· Networking Fundamentals, including TCP/IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, Routing, Firewall
· In depth knowledge of TCP/IP with the ability to interpret network traces to identify network problems
· Knowledge WAN Optimization technologies, QoS, Compression etc.
· Knowledge of HTTP protocol including the security vulnerabilities associated with it
· Experience in designing or maintaining high availability networks to include VRRP, Load balancing and dynamic routing protocols
· Needs to be technical expert on IP networking and WAN Optimization technologies
· Must have demonstrable, current experience, of hands-on technical expertise
· Cisco CCNP or equivalent qualification
· Spoken and written English
Work conditions:
· Official employment (Russian Labor Code);
· Compensation: basic salary + bonuses;
· Work schedule: Monday-Friday 9.30 - 18.00;
