Our client is an Australian owned company that provides IT outsourcing. They are seeking an experienced systems engineer to join the company for an immediate start. This role has become available due to the growth of the company.
Key responsibilities
- Servers and desktop virtualisation using VMware; Hyper V and CITRIX solution
- Storage Consolidation with SAN and NAS
- WAN Optimization solutions
- De-duplication storage solution
- Application delivery using Citrix
- Hosted and in-house VOIP Solution
- Video Conferencing Solution
- Security Audit; Design; Implementation; Monitoring and Maintenance
- Linux to Windows Migration works
- Trend System and Network security solution
Experience and Qualifications
- 3 years minimum experience in a systems engineer role
- Certified in any of the following is a must - Microsoft (MCITP, MCSE), Citrix (CCA, CCAE), VMware (VCP, VCAP), Cisco (CCNA)
- knowledge of the following would be highly regarded: - Active directory, Server Virtualisation, Servers (HP, Cisco, IBM), Windows XP/Vista/7, Firewalls, Internet Security Technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Attention to detail
- Outstanding customer skills and the ability to demonstrate customer focus
- Must have good diagnostic, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Must currently live in Perth
- Current drivers license (and reliable vehicle)
- An IT degree is highly regarded but no essential
