Systems Engineer recruitment
Excellent opportunity to join a growing Financial Technology vendor offering solutions particularly within the Hosted Services Domain.
They are seeking a Systems Engineer to join their core IT Team based in Sydney CBD to support and enhance their offerings.
For this role you will have:
• Minimum of 2 years of networking experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products including MS Office 2007 (Outlook, SQL, Office 2003/2007, DNS)
• Experience troubleshooting Windows XP and Windows 7
• Experience with Active Directory including creation, deletion and maintenance of accounts
• Experience using remote access technologies such as VPN and thin client hardware technology
• Demonstrate knowledge of networking and routing protocols
• Knowledge of Solaris, Linux and Windows is preferable
• Demonstrable knowledge of Change Control Process
• Track record of automation and simplification
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes and preferably hold a Certification in ITIL
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Leading/assisting with network resolution in ticket assignment, oversight routing, escalation, user interfacing and resolution.
• Work with vendors and technology partners with carrier scheduling, including coordination and network outage maintenance dispatching in conjunction with other operations functional areas.
• Record all incidents and requests using ticketing software and manage these requests through to resolution
• Develop and maintain support documentation
• Adhere to SLA’s and KPI’s with an overall goal of first call resolution whilst adhering to ITIL guidelines
• Participate in team projects as required
