Specific Job Description Systems engineering technical leader reporting to the ACE-IT Design Services Engineering Integration Manager. Position requires experience in establishing and leading Systems Engineering efforts from a technical perspective on a large scale IT development and sustainment program. A proven understanding of the Systeme Engineer Lifcycle and ability to tailor to the ACE-IT program design and development requirements as well as new business opportunities is expected in minimal time. Leadership: - Solid communication skills in interpersonal and group settings (internal and external) and as a technical presenter to large audiences. Frequent contact with internal personnel and outside customers and industry peers - Strong ability to inspire cooperation, confidence, and motivation of a team in a stressful environment Technical: - Advanced knowledge and proven experience as systems engineering leader - Experience administering Systems Engineering (SE) lifecycle processes to include requirements analysis through integration verification - Advanced knowledge experience in Schedule Development, Analysis, and Performance - Solid experience with SE metrics analysis - Technical management of multidisciplinary SE engineering team; actively involved in daily operations when required to meet critical schedules or resolve complex issues by providing solutions which require ingenuity and creativity. " Standard Job Description Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
