We have an immediate need for a Systems Engineer/Systems Administrator
Job Description:
RHEL 5/6 knowledge/experience is required for this position. Heavy shell scripting experience with the ability to simultaneously handle multiple development projects in a version control environment is also preferred. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all of the following areas: bash, ksh, Python, CVS, RPM, Red Hat Satellite, and VMware. Equivalent experience in comparable areas will be considered.
Managing a conference line for support (greeting, queuing, resolving questions)
Clear and accurate communication skills
3 - 11 pm shift is a requirement.
Platform and Skill Set Expertise:
Client Server Development : UNIX, Source Code Control : ClearCase, Systems Administration : UNIX, Systems Administration : Shell Scripting, Systems Administration : Perl
