Systems Implementation Manager, Oracle R12 & ITIL Job in Leeds, Yorkshire UK

Our client is a world leading technology services business working with private and public sector projects throughout the UK. This complex role within Finance and Accounting (FA) involves working to introduce Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition along with an upgrade to release 12 of Oracle E-Business Suite Financials. You will have responsibility for planning and transition into service of the final elements of each system as additional clients are added, as well as other financial and accounting enhancements to be implemented.  You will work with existing IT and business managers to lead IT delivery into the Finance and Accounting side of the business, and you will report to director level. You will be required to have flexibility to work outside normal hours during implementation of application upgrades, and able to travel to other sites when required.

Essential Skill Set:

·         Demonstrable success of transitioning into service Oracle E-business suite financials, and OBIEE or similar technology.

·         Successful project management experience in an Oracle technical environment.

·         Successfully transitioning systems and services in an ITIL best practise environment.

·         In particular, demonstrable experience in the Service Transition lifecycle.

·         Demonstrable experience of reducing IT operational risk whilst introducing new technology

·         Able to recognise and effectively manage stakeholders

·         Work effectively with all levels of business and technical staff.

·         Excellent approach to problem solving and the presentation and recommendation of options to resolve issues.

·         Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

·         Good at the interpretation, analysis and management of financial and statistical data.

·         A demonstrable drive to achieve success for the individual and the organisation.

 

Desirable Skills

·         Good customer supplier relationship management.

·         Financial management.

·         Appropriate professional project management and ITIL qualifications.

·         Degree educated.
