Systems Integration Practice Head, Consultancy recruitment
Rapidly growing and highly successful Management Consultancy seeks an individual to Head the Systems Integration Practice. The Systems Integration Practice Manager is responsible for creating a Hong Kong presence for the regional APAC practice. With a strong client focus, the incumbent is responsible for overseeing delivery, developing practice capability, and supporting sales in key named accounts in addition to building new business in agreed other client targets.
As a key member of the regional leadership team, the Systems Integration Practice Manager undertakes a partially billing role, with the proportion varying on a case-by-case basis. The Practice Manager will be responsible for Systems Integration across all clients spanning many different industry silos.
Key Accountabilities:
Leverage expertise
- Oversee quality of delivery and ensure client expectations are met or exceeded; ensure client concerns about delivery are promptly and proactively identified and addressed.
- Develop and maintain client-relevance and credibility by maintaining billing presence over time and across a number of clients/projects.
Sales
- Ensure extension sales opportunities are recognised and managed effectively and efficiently.
- Promote other practice capability into clients and cross sell across practices.
- Identify opportunities for new or follow-on business and qualify with other Practice Managers and the regional leadership team.
- Jointly pursue opportunities (with regional sales teams and other practices) as agreed, or mobilise to pursue qualified opportunities on a practice-specific basis otherwise.
- Provide proposal development support.
Profitability
- Manage client expectations and also the successful delivery of services to achieve or exceed target project margins.
- Support the achievement of practice gross profit targets (gross profit after sales, bench and other agreed costs).
People Leadership
- Foster and contribute to a highly engaged, committed, team.
- Directly support the recruitment and retention of a growing consultant base within the national practice.
- Mentor consultants to develop relationships that add strategic value to clients' business.
- Contribute to the regional leadership team under the Regional Director.
Operations
- Foster the professional development of practice personnel
- Drive local practice-focused activities/events in line with national processes and strategies:
- Recruitment
- Professional development
- Project resourcing
- Providing input to salary, bonus and performance reviews as required
- Development of sales collateral
- Codification of frameworks, methods and tools
- Adhere to and enforce agreed commercial and operational processes and standards.
Pre-requisite knowledge/skills/behaviours:
Knowledge:
- Strong subject matter / domain expertise in large scale, Enterprise Systems Integration
- Superior client management and delivery management skills
- Must be fluent in Chinese either CANTONESE or MANDARIN
