Systems Integrator Job in Crofton, Maryland US
Our client, a software integration company in Crofton MD, seeks a System Integrator. This position works with clients to develop business requirements and implements business rules through the use of their proprietary integration tools.
Minimum 2-yrs full time experience in VB Script, SQL, and Windows 2003/2008/XP/7.
4-yr degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
On a day to day process, employees: Provide customer support, Program systems, and are required to provide 25 of billable hours of work (per week).
Customer Support: Customers often call with questions about their systems processes. They ask question on how to either configure a device, how-to enable logging and other questions. Being able to read code, understand shipping (nice to have), and good communication skills are requirements for this task.
Projects: Employee would read a design spec written that defines the programming requirements, write code to enact the requirements on the customer’s system. Employee would manage project deliverables and update our project management software. If the Project Manager has any question on status of testing or percent complete the employee would be required to provide updates in a timely manner.
Daily: Report all time on a daily basis in our task tracking software and update their timesheets.
