This is a new position on the JMAST contaract at Lackland AFB in San Antonio TX. The start date is 15 April 2012. To be considered, applicants must have a curret TS/SCI clearance and experience installing and configuring network performance monitoring systems. Client Duties and Responsibilities: R esponsible for the installation, testing,and integration of a variety of network and application performance monitoring tools such as Arcsight, IBM's NetCool, NetIQ, solarwinds, and IONIX. Responsible for installing and configuring COTS and GOTS software hardware and hardware in both operational and testbed environments. Provides full integration support across multiple systems/applications/platforms. Integrates monitoring, performance analysis, network management, software and hardware equipment to trouble shoot and isolate problems, gauge network performance, and trace data and protocol activity. Configures network and system health and status monitoring capabilities such as SNMP, Netflow, and syslog reporting and collection tools. Maintains timely and complete documentation of all daily and project work, using standard methods and procedures. Keeps abreast of relevant technologies and maintains selected technical certifications. Client Required Qualifications: Have five to seven years of experience installing and configuring network and server application health and status monitoring systems, a TS/SCI clearance, a degree in computer science or engineering. Excellent communications skills. Have experience and knowledge of TCP/IP network traffic analysis tools/techniques and experience identifying common ports/protocols/and traffic flows. Needs to have skills to assist in the integration activity scripting installation configuration of COTS and GOTS software evaluation. Have experience with software firmware and hardware installations in both the operational and test-bed environments. Strong LAN and WAN networking skills with Cisco routers and Cisco switches Previous experience in designing and supporting large-scale IP networks is required. Knowledge of Firewalls, Perl shell scripting, Linux and Solaris operating systems is also required. Client Desired Qualifications: Three years experience in Computer Network Operations, or modeling and simulation. Three years experience in Computer and network security solutions. Knowledge of Linux operating system and shell scripting. Experience with IP traffic generation tools such as SPIRENT, Breaking Point, SAST, LARIAT, TCP replay. Experience in software quality assurance testing CACI POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision, supports the total system perspective including the technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides full integration support throughout the total system life cycle (including maintenance, administration, and management), across multiple systems/applications/platforms, including a familiarity of relevant policies, standards, methodologies, and frameworks. Focuses on specific areas such as customer advocacy, customer relationship building, needs assessment, requirements definition and management, process/control gate support, systems integration testing, program management support, and technical integration. Creates, drafts and/or reviews program documentation. Generates formal review documentation. Reviews and identifies system and program plan inconsistencies. Analyzes relationship management, computer systems requirements and dependencies, both hardware and software. Converts mission and customer needs into system requirements and definition, and work directly with the customer to define and prioritize mission needs. EDUCATION EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment.
