BlackRock's Corporate Services' Group
provides a range of office management, infrastructure support and
administrative services that include the day-to-day operations of
BlackRock offices, the design and maintenance of our internal
systems and the support tools necessary to run a company
efficiently and cost effectively. Corporate Services' is comprised
of six teams: Business Continuity Management, Business Services,
Design Construction, Facilities Management, Real Estate and
Security.
The Systems Manager is responsible for
developing, executing, maintaining and reporting on the various
global systems supporting the Corporate Services department. These
systems include space management, asset management, work order
requests, lease administration, security and life safety, and
project management components with the strategy to integrate (where
possible) with the core systems across BlackRock.
WORK EXPERIENCE
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture,
Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration or
related field from an accredited college. Graduate Degree is
desirable - Requires minimum of 7 years of
progressive advancement in facilities or real estate management
with 3 years in a supervisory position. - Experience with designing,
implementing, and maintaining a work order management
system - CAFM / Archibus and AutoCAD
experience. Knowledge of Revit a plus - General understanding of major
trade skills and the ability to read and interpret their
application on facility design and contract documents. General
understanding of facilities codes and regulations - Knowledge of facilities processes,
performance metrics, and cost reduction opportunities - Experience with PL chargeback
system - Knowledge and experience in
workplace sustainability programs - Excellent collaboration and
interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain effective
working relationships at all levels within the
organization - Excellent business analytical and
financial management skills, with the ability to see implications
and provide consultative solutions and recommendations - Strong scheduling, prioritizing,
and multi-tasking skills and able to work in a fast-paced
collaborative team environment - Excellent presentation, verbal, and
written communication skills - High proficiency in MS Excel,
Project, PowerPoint, and Word
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide overall technical support
for Corporate Services, including: - Responsible for understanding the
Corporate Services' current technology requirements and procedures
and making recommendations to help the organization operate more
efficiently and effectively - Serve as global Computer Automated
Facilities Management (CAFM) Administrator utilizing the Archibus
application - Responsible for data integrity of
CAFM / Archibus / FM Core system to ensure accurate
reporting - Train end users on Corporate
Services systems and write instruction manuals, when
required - Works with other support service
staff to assist in cross-functional activities such as large scale
projects, special events, and other activities - Develop and implement policies
controls around Corporate Services' systems - Develop RFPs, solicits bids for
service contractors, projects, and participate in the contractor
selection process. Establishes key performance indicators and
monitors service contracts for compliance and financial
performance - 5-10% travel required
