Systems Operations Engineer-Interactive Entertain Software Job in San Francisco 94102, California US

Your responsibilities would include:

* Working from a ticket queue to support regular development and operations and track resource usage
* Working with Platform and Game Developers to deliver new games and features. 
* Providing initial response to regular issues,
* Working with Operations Engineers locally around the globe ensuring high availability of production services.
* Contributing to the design and delivery of our systems infrastructure. .
* Engineering, designing and executing quality solutions daily.

Desired Skills Experience

Technically speaking, candidates must possess the following skills:

* Deep understanding and experience with Linux fundamentals, specifically RHEL/CentOS flavors.
* Servlet container experience with Jetty or Tomcat
* Deep understanding of current web technologies: HTTP1.1, XML, RPC, etc* Experience scaling Linux in high bandwidth/concurrency environments
* Very comfortable reading and writing bash/python/perl/php, sans our code test.

* Ability to think quickly and act with integrity and diligence. 
* Natural curiosity and passion for tech, games, software and doing awesome stuff.
* Natural technical talent and proficiency
* Experience with the following technologies: EC2/Cloud, Configuration Management, Wikis, Java, Flash
* Java thread dump analysis
* MySQL replication
* The ability to finish things well, attention to detail.
* The ability to lead as well as the ability to follow
