Systems Operations Manager – Singapore
This role will work with the London-based Systems Operations night shift manager to provide 1st line operational support for the portfolio of applications, trading service, matching service, MDD (market data service) and position reporting service.
The role will report to the Systems Operations Manager in Singapore who will be responsible for setting and prioritising objectives, work tasks and completing the Personal Development Review. This role will have specific responsibility for raising service request tickets on behalf of members using the TOPdesk ticketing system, and will manage/escalate tickets to 2nd line application support.
In addition to 1st line technical support duties, this role will support Singapore-based members with operational issues including telephone, or on-site support, training requirements and general operational liaison work. The role will include periods of working in the London office to update knowledge of operational technologies, systems and processes.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
• Experience of working in an IT operational support environment
• Good general IT and data networks knowledge
• Experience of working for an global Financial Services organisation would be desirable
• Awareness of ITIL principles would be desirable
Skills Required:
• Practical experience working with the Microsoft Office 2010 Windows 7
• Good oral and written communication skills, especially telephone manner
