Systems Operations Manager APAC recruitment

The role will report to the Head of Systems Trading (in London) who will be responsible for setting and prioritising objectives, work tasks and completing the Personal Development Review.  This role will have specific responsibility for raising service request tickets on behalf of members using the TOPdesk ticketing system, and will manage/escalate tickets to 2nd line application support

In addition to 1st line technical support duties, this role will support Singapore-based members with operational issues including telephone, or on-site support, training requirements and general operational liaison work. 

MUST HAVE:
• Experience of working in an IT operational support environment
• Good general IT and data networks knowledge
• Experience of working for an Exchange or global Financial  Services organisation would be desirable
• Awareness of ITIL principles would be desirable
• Practical experience working with the Microsoft Office 2010 Windows 7
• Good oral and written communication skills, especially telephone manner
• Good presentational skills
• Good report writing skills
• Composure, dependability, calmness, persistence, methodical, steadiness and stability
• Accurate, precise, controlled/disciplined
• Amiable and easy going nature
• Systematic and logical approach to problem solving
