Corporate Trust Services (CTS) is part of the Wholesale portfolio of businesses within the Specialized Lending,Servicing, and Trust Group The candidate will fulfill the QA Technology Test Lead/ coordinator role for some Credit and Trust internal applications immediately and, within 6 months to 1 year, will be expected to fulfill the QA Technology Lead role on medium to large and/or complex projects. Act as a lead in the creation, preparation, and conduct of quality assurance reviews and the development and execution of master test plans, test scripts, resource planning/staffing, project test plans, project budgets, audit/regulatory testing compliance and defect management. Works with Wholesale Credit and Trust business partners to establish and maintain a consistent approach in the execution of the Wholesale Credit and Trust QA process. Responsible for the review of business requirements and major enhancements for wholesale Credit and Trust applications. Analyzes, tests, and certifies application-specific software and performs ambiguity reviews of business requirements and functional specifications documents. Researches new QA products and industry methodologies and makes recommendations on how they can be incorporated into the Wholesale Credit and Trust process as best practices to reduce testing cost and speed up time to market delivery. Plans and directs quality assurance schedules and assignments, and monitors testing status relative to project schedules and budgets. Advise and consult on the sizing of Credit and Trust testing efforts for new projects. Assist the QA Manager in the preparation of department budgets. Serves as a mentor to assigned team members and assists in the preparation of team member development plans. Basic Qualifications: 7+ years IT quality assurance and systems/application testing experience. Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years experience in end to end Quality Assurance test planning and execution. 5+ years experience working as a QA Technical Lead on medium to complex projects. Proven analytical organizational skills Ability to effectively communicate utilizing oral and written communication skills Experience with multiple computer platforms and operating systems. Experience in testing web based and mainframe applications and testing environments. Demonstrate follow-through on tracking/resolving application and environmental issues discovered during testing. Ability to document all phases of QA process. Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects. Proven track record in recommending and implementation of QA best practices. Experience in the use of HP Quality Center as tool support the QA process. Experience in the planning and execution of Load and Performance testing. Preferred Skills: Independently evaluate, troubleshoot defects, and identify responsible applications. Technical knowledge/experience as a contributor to technical solutions. Experience in system analysis design troubleshooting.
