Specific duties include:
•
Research and create application architectures to satisfy corporate strategies, timelines, and cost objectives..
• Coordinate with the sales team, customers, application developers, and business unit SME's to ensure that the appropriate solution is designed and included in proposals. Provide sales support by preparing and delivering technical solutions during sales meetings. Work closely with existing or potential customers to understand the technical challenges that need to be overcome to meet business objectives.
• Work with and influence all levels of leadership within IT and business units to capture and validate requirements and convert into solutions. Provide high-level analysis and design reviews to other department members to share learnings and avoid duplication of efforts.
• Plan technical support infrastructure and lead the transition from application implementation to support to ensure that appropriate support is available to clients.
• Work with product development teams and senior designers to develop architectural requirements to ensure client satisfaction. Work with third-party vendors to develop and/or integrate applications into company products while ensuring that applications are in accordance with company standards.
Participate in the evolution of technology roadmaps that promote technology reuse and continued growth of new and established solutions that support client and market needs.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus at least seven years experience; or at least ten years related experience; or equivalent or equivalent from two-year college or technical school plus at least two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Seven years in application architecture and/or product development; seven years working with software systems, applications and network markets; seven years working with technical products, vendors, and families of technologies and company software and hardware products; seven years experience working with application design principles and product configurations; five years software development life cycle experience; Multiplatform understanding of all database systems on a conceptual/conversation level; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, project management, customer service, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
