SYSTEMS/MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
Working with the entire business the Systems Accountant will work to ensure company profits are safeguarded
Responsibilities will include:
• Ensure that the businesses IT systems deliver a competitive advantage through the entrepreneurial utilisation of IT systems as well as the design, implementation and management of business controls and procedures
• Preparation of accurate Management Accounts
• Control of Balance Sheet account reconciliation
• The ability to assist with the implementation of IT Finance systems ensuring adequate controls and procedures are designed and maintained
• Improve reporting methodologies
• To migrate current month-end and daily reporting from the current spread sheet based procedures to report-writer based
• Review, improve and develop procedures designed to ensure business controls, consistency and standards across all areas (administration, purchasing, sales, stock management, online trading, direct sales etc.)
• Reconciliation of certain balance-sheet accounts (to be determined) and control of ALL monthly balance-sheet account reconciliations
The successful applicant will have excellent accounting knowledge and a superb understanding of business IT systems, and the integration of them. Advanced Excel knowledge and other systems. You will be an excellent motivator and be a team player .
