Market Operations and Technology (MOT) provides technology and market operations to Macquarie's businesses.

The Technology Division is responsible for the management of Macquarie's technology infrastructure, the support and development of existing business systems and the delivery and deployment of new systems, technologies and services. It comprises business aligned teams which provide dedicated and specialist services to businesses as well as central teams which provide shared services, such as infrastructure, to multiple businesses.

Technology activities include:

Managing Macquarie's technology infrastructure

Supporting, maintaining and enhancing existing business systems

Delivering and deploying new systems, technologies and services

Ensures all technical hardware and software is provided to all users

Operates the ITG Service Desk which provides IT support to all users

The MOT MFG team is seeking a Group Assistant to join a fast pace team and support the MOT team (up to 50 staff).
In this role your responsibilities will include:

Group administrative tasks as required

Expense Processing for general travel entertainment for the group

Invoice Payment Process - includes tracking, processing, payment and reporting

Joiners Leavers processing (STL)

Headcount tracking and reporting

Presentation preparation using power point and excel

Flight and accommodation booking for travelling executives on overseas trips

Co-ordination of meetings and conference calls with various overseas locations

Booking meeting rooms and attending to specific requirements including external catering and audio visual equipment

Answering telephone calls from internal and external clients

Sorting and distributing mail

Must have the following characteristics:

· Computer knowledge; including Internet, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power point

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Accuracy and attention to detail

· Team player with previous experience supporting a broad team across a range of levels within the organization

· The ability to get along with people

· Customer-focused attitude with a 'service first' mentality

· The ability to work as part of a regional team across multiple countries, cultures and time-zones

· The ability to remain calm under pressure and when faced with adversity or urgent issues

· Flexibility and adaptability

· The ability to view current processes and procedures as opportunities for enhancement, tuning and improvement
