Play a key role in the IT Support team with the specific focus on T24. Primary function is to deliver solutions to the Market Area UK business in PB, which involves the support of the T24 application (Temenos).

Work closely with other team members and development resources contributing to an effective team culture with strong delivery ethic. Display attention to detail, willingness to learn and must be proactive.

As a member of the support team, it is imperative that the post-holder understands the importance of and strictly adheres to the change / release mechanisms in place and experience of using such systems is paramount.

Responsibilities:

• Address Support team Incident tickets and ensure that they are resolved or answered in a timely manner and that the correct priorities are being applied
• Support Private Banking business processes and systems on a daily basis, with the emphasis on support for T24 and its supporting systems (e.g. interfaces, extracts, feeds, data messaging). This may include overnight support and direct liaison with Temenos (vendor).
• Troubleshoot and resolve daily production and technical support issues in conjunction with other IT teams where necessary
• Create functional and technical specs for production bugs, undertake IT testing and support business users with user acceptance testing of bug fixes
• Contribute to the technical upgrades of the T24 application
• Perform standard system checks, resolving any issues as and when necessary
• Analyse Temenos patches and perform testing prior to move into production.

Key skills:

• Have expert knowledge of the Temenos T24 system (specifically the securities, accounting, forex, money market and delivery modules) – minimum of 4 years experience
• Good Unix skills, ideally IBM AIX
• Expert knowledge of Jbase language
• Exposure to ITIL framework is essential
• Knowledge of TC Server OFS Connector would be beneficial but not essential.
• Knowledge of Java, C#, asp.net, sql would be beneficial but not essential.
• Familiar with TFS / other source control software
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Quality Centre / Remedy (or other issue tracking software)
• Banking and Financial Services knowledge is essential
