Duties and Responsibilities Prepare surgical and autopsy specimens for histologic examination. Process tissue, including associated data entry. Accurately embed fixed tissues. Cut consistently high quality tissue sections. Stain and cover slip glass slides, including manual and automated H and E stains, special histochemical stains and immunohistochemical stains.
