Tax AccountantSCOPE OF JOB: Performs a variety of tax preparation duties within established deadlines. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Gathers information and completes federal, state and local tax returns, estimates, extensions. 2.Reconciles tax accounts. 3.Gathers information for auditors inquiries. 4.Prepares annual and quarterly calculations and other accounting summaries. 5.Keeps abreast of legislative enactments/changes to ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws. 6.Keeps management informed of status of projects. 7.Responds to inquiries from other departments in an efficient and timely manner.
