Job Description
Scottrade, Inc. has a Talent Acquisition Manager position available in St. Louis, MO. The Recruitment Manager will ensure the recruitment team and hiring strategy aligns with the company’s mission and is conducted to follow best practices and state and federal laws. The Recruitment Manager will be responsible for using his or her knowledge and creativity to develop ever evolving approaches to continuously create a pipeline of high-quality candidate needed to meet the organizations hiring needs, all the while maintaining an organized, compliant and client-focused department.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and motivate a recruitment team responsible for the recruitment of technical and non-technical candidates at all levels of the organization.
- Lead the development and execution of strategy and plans to identify and attract high quality technical and non-technical candidates. Guide recruitment team in overcoming recruitment obstacles and creating pipelines for hard-to-fill positions while ensuring compliance with both Scottrade practices and state and federal laws.
- Use recruitment data to manage the recruitment team’s workload, identify problems or trends, manage implications and create strategies and solutions to proactively alleviate issues.
- Builds relationships with, and provides professional support and advice to recruitment team and hiring managers.
- Initiate projects, programs and process improvements that will further the recruitment department’s goals.
- Write and conduct quarterly bonus reviews and annual goal setting reviews; Handle ER issues within recruiting including written communication records and action plans.
- Recruit for managerial or highly tenchical positions as needed.

- Proficient in Internet Research and passive recruiting.
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Knowledgeable of benefits, compensation, and HRIS practices.
- Strong initiative and negotiation skills.
- Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressively responsible corporate/HR recruitment experience;
- 3 to 5 years experience managing a recruitment team
- PHR or SPHR preferred
