Talent Acquisition Specialist, Operations Job in New York 10001, New York US
The overall mission of the Talent Acquisition Specialist - is to define the open position, attract and hire quality candidates and deliver against metrics necessary to achieve "best in class" talent acquisition. TAS will support operational functions (IT, Finance, Sourcing Production, etc.) in all recruiting needs.
- Responsible for Role Definition Management, Sourcing Management, Candidate Management, Relationship Management and Offer Management of all external and internal contacts affecting a given search
- Responsible for partnering with Compensation and Functional areas to clearly define the staffing need, and a sourcing strategy
- Proactively network with potential candidates to ensure pipeline of talent for future openings
- Effectively source, recruit and interview best in class candidates
- Partner extensively through the organization to ensure thorough understanding of operational businesses to better assess talent for areas
- Manage, coach and develop internal associates on interviewing skills
- Build strong relationship with all new hires to ensure smooth transition into business
- Ensure thorough understanding of internal customers needs prior to starting search
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of the brand to ensure cultural fit and technical fit of all candidates
- Communicate status of search with internal customers on consistent and timely basis
- Respond to feedback from internal and external customers on a timely basis
- Support all functions of HR including the Generalist, Compensation, Training Development, HRIS and Benefits teams
- Provide partnership within the Generalist Teams in relation to departmental strategy, succession planning, and associate relations
