The Role
The Talent Management Specialist for EMEA is a full member of the EMEA Talent, OD Enterprise Learning team and will report the VP Talent, OD Enterprise Learning EMEA who is based in Brussels. The focus of this position is to support the region for performance management, talent review (incl. OLR), talent movement, development planning and to provide tools for assessment and coaching.
Primary Accountabilities
- Function as regional subject matter expert for performance management as well as employee development systems, tools and processes, and analyze the usage and compliance to identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure appropriate training and infrastructure is provided in the region to assure timely and quality employee development (development planning, development dialogue, 360, assessment tools, coaching, ..) and performance management.
- Support the VP TODEL with the regional talent council, talent review and OLR
- Leverage talent information into talent actions, help drive succession planning and key talent review process, and help develop strategies to accelerate development of key talent and successor candidates
- Examine and identify key trends in EMEA Talent data, present in clear, succinct reports to key stakeholders, demonstrate the implications of these trends on the organization/business and translate into concrete and practical actions
- Ensure that IR leader and core competencies are correctly leveraged in all talent management tools used in the EMEA region
- Manages and improves tools and processes for talent movement in EMEA and this in close collaboration with Talent acquisition EMEA in order to optimize internal movement.
- Manages and improves tools and processes for talent development in EMEA and this in close collaboration with Enterprise Learning to leverage maximally the 70-20-10 in the learning experience
- Remain up-to-date on latest performance management, talent development, and career management issues to help update our approach and offerings
- Collaborate and learn within the EMEA Talent, OD Enterprise Learning team

- Knowledge of performance management tools, metrics, and performance measurement techniques
- Knowledge of employee development tools, metrics, and employee development measurement techniques,
- Strong customer service, multi-tasking, analytical, and prioritization skills
- Strong problem solving and conflict management skills
- Strong consultative skills and ability to work with all levels of management
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business studies/administration/management, organizational development, a related field required
- Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in performance management or human capital management
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- A quick learner and result-oriented and sense of urgency.
- Strong attention to detail
- Fluent in both English and another major EU language (spoken and written)
- Ability and willingness to travel 5%
