Tanker Operator – Products – UK – recruitment
Job Description Responsibilities:
-You would be solely in charge of 7 to 12 vessels
-Your responsibilities would be slightly dependent upon whether your role was to be more product tankers or more methanol tankers focused
-Payment arrangement of port charges
-Demurrage calculations and settlement issues
-Working closely alongside the other teams, for example the chartering teams
-Time charts
-Commercial operations of tankers
-Liaising with the other offices, globally
-Technical aspects as and when applicable
-Communication with Masters, Charterers, other Operators, Port Owners and Ship Mangers
-Visiting of terminals and vessels
-Voyage instructions
-Voyage logs
-Documentation; various duties
-Cash flow forecasts
Pre Requisites:
Ø It is vital that you have experience within tanker operations; a minimum of one year experience is required.
Ø It would be beneficial to have exposure within either CPPs, Products, Methanol or VLGCs
Ø Preferably have 3 years plus experience within tanker operations; professionals with over 5 years experience are also welcome to apply
Ø Excellent organisational skills
Ø Must be enthusiastic
Ø It is essential that you are fluent in the English language
Ø Must be proficient within Word, Excel etc.
Location: The role will be located in London; you must have a work visa/the right to work in the UK to apply for this role.
Salary: The base salary range for this role is £30-40K dependant; there are then benefits and a discretionary bonus on top of this base salary.
Time Frame: My client is looking to bring the successful candidate on as soon as possible.
